Targeticon - Java Developer - JBOSS/J2EE (3-8 yrs)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java development, particularly in the JBoss Development Environment, Java 1.8, J2EE, Struts, Spring, and other key technologies.

You will design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications, ensuring seamless integration with databases, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Java Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using Java 1.8, J2EE, and associated frameworks.

- Work in the JBoss Development Environment to create and maintain enterprise-grade applications.

- Develop, implement, and maintain core functionalities using frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

RESTful APIs Development :

- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.

- Ensure APIs are secure, efficient, and scalable to handle complex data interactions.

Database Management :

- Develop and optimize OLAP/OLTP queries and stored procedures for efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Collaborate with the database team to ensure smooth integration and performance tuning.

Web Development :

- Use HTML5 and CSS3 to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI/UX designs with back-end systems.

Collaboration and Support :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality applications.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure robust and error-free applications.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance development processes.

- Suggest and implement improvements in code quality, application architecture, and development practices.

Requirements :

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Master's degree is a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Java 1.8 and J2EE development.

- Hands-on experience with frameworks like Struts and Spring.

- Familiarity with the JBoss Development Environment and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

- Expertise in writing and optimizing OLAP/OLTP queries and stored procedures.

- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for front-end development.

- Knowledge of JSON for data exchange and parsing.
