As the Salesforce Architect, you will play a critical part in driving the business transformation and optimization of our enterprise systems to support our Go-To-Market strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product to ensure seamless integration and utilization of systems that enhance our ability to scale, improve operational efficiency, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Transform business needs into actionable requirements and functionality, rationalizing current state with more scalable future state
Devise, revise and maintain both declarative (flows, validation rules, approvals, etc) and programmatic functionality
Design data models, user interfaces, business logic and security for custom applications
Ensure Salesforce security and scalability, in both set up and creating a risk-aware culture on the team
Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and its growing ecosystem, including cross-cloud integration
Lead technical design sessions, document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, and identify gaps between clients current and desired end-states
Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including sales, service,experience cloud, CPQ, integration, and platform capabilities
Experience with sophisticated programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, integration patterns, asynchronous operations, and effective testing methodologies
Experience defining systems architecture landscapes, identifying gaps in roadmaps to reach desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions that enable achievement of the clients desired outcomes
Strong understanding of environment management, release management, and continuous integration/delivery methodologies
Ability to lead a team of solution designers and developers; ability to lead design reviews to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
Requirements:
A bachelor s degree (preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration , Engineering or Information Systems), or equivalent experience
8+ years experience in Solution and Technical Architecture within Salesforce ecosystem
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale system implementations and driving technology transformation initiatives
Demonstrable understanding of salesforce technology architecture, salesforce API,Platform events, complex data structures and integration standards
Hands-on experience working with Salesforce infrastructure (e.g. Apex, LWC, Visualforce,Flows), common coding languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript) and iPaas architectures (e.g. Boomi, Mulesoft)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate teams towards common goals without authority
Experience with/in an Agile continuous integration/delivery model and certification in Agile methods
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
