Growth Marketing Manager (Founding Team)
About Zenskar:
- Zenskar is building new-age billing and pricing infrastructure for SaaS companies.
- As SaaS pricing evolves from vanilla subscription based models to more granular usage based models, billing and pricing infrastructure needs to be completely reimagined.
- Zenskar is founded by Apurv Bansal & Saurabh Agrawal, who sold their previous startups to Snapdeal and Gaana respectively.
- They have experience at organizations such as Google, Basepair, Elevation Capital, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and Harvard Business School.
- We are building our founding team, and are looking for folks who are excited about learning and meaningfully shaping the trajectory of an early stage startup from Day 0 in its journey.
- An innovative, multi-pronged GTM approach is critical to stand out and attract customers. The good part is that we are building a "pain-killer", as opposed to a "vitamin", which makes it much easier to sell and market.
- The pain is severe, the product is best in class, and the market is huge - it doesn't get better than this.
- We are selling to the mid-market and enterprise, with a fairly high touch sales process. We are setting up best-in-class sales machinery to scalably and predictably drive revenue.

Working Days: 5 days/week
Role & Responsibilities:
- We are looking for folks who are excited to get their hands dirty in a 0 to 1 journey.
- If you are expecting a working playbook that you can scale, Zenskar is probably not the right fit for you at this point.
- However, if you are excited about creating the playbook from scratch, we would love to hear from you.
- We are looking for an exceptional individual who can take up the challenge to market and grow a B2B SaaS ground up.
- You'll need to possess a strong drive, take ownership of your work, and have an insatiable desire to take action and make things happen.
- You will work closely with product marketing, content marketing, sales, and design teams and play a pivotal role in shaping our growth trajectory.
- In short, you will be owning and driving revenue through paid channels for Zenskar. You will be required to work on multiple initiatives for Zenskar:
- Own the setup and scaling up of all performance marketing efforts across multiple platforms, such as Google, LinkedIn, Bing, Capterra, Reddit, Meta, etc.
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across platforms - Google, LinkedIn, Bing, Meta, Reddit, and Capterra to achieve business growth objectives.
Campaign Execution:
- Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns for ROI through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and continuous performance monitoring.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Implement strategies to improve the conversion rates across all initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze performance data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
Budget & Growth Management:
- Effectively manage budget to maximize impact, ensure cost efficiency, and explore innovative growth opportunities through experimentation.
Account-based marketing (ABM):
- Design and execute personalized marketing campaigns targeted at key accounts to accelerate pipeline growth and conversions.
- Partner with sales teams to align ABM strategies with sales goals, creating tailored account playbooks and engagement plans.
- Utilize tools like intent data, CRM platforms, and marketing automation to deliver hyper-personalized experiences for high-value prospects.
- Build and lead a team of BDRs to convert accounts and leads into revenue while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling ad creatives and landing pages.
Get involved in other go-to-market efforts:
- SEO: Drive organic growth by optimizing website performance, content, and visibility on search engines.
- Brand Marketing: Strengthen Zenskar's identity through compelling campaigns and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Webinars: Manage end-to-end webinar processes, from concept to execution, ensuring engagement and lead generation.
- Influencers & Partnerships: Develop co-marketing initiatives to expand reach and influence in our target market. Collaborate with industry leaders/influencers to boost brand trust.
- Offline Events: Organize and execute offline events to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
- Content Distribution: Work closely with content teams to ensure content reaches the target audience.
- Lead Magnets: Create and distribute valuable tools like templates and calculators.
- Community: Build & nurture a close-knit community of potential/existing customers.
- Podcasts: Conceptualize and launch a podcast to establish thought leadership and industry expertise.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 4 years in performance marketing and/or digital marketing in a high-velocity environment, executing on concrete projects.
- Proven track record in growth marketing with strong experience in at least one advertising channel within B2B SaaS.
- Solid hustle and entrepreneurial mindset; Thrive under the uncertainty of an early-stage setup.
- Ability to apply first principles thinking and a strong marketing foundation to drive growth and innovation within the company.
- Passion and curiosity to learn about new products and industries - excited to dive into the technical details.
- Strong problem-solving ability and performance/metrics-driven thinking without missing creativity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meaning avoiding enterprise jargon, adapting to the brand voice, and writing with the customer in mind.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and add value immediately in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with extremely good follow-up skills, self-driven, and proactive.
- Not taking yourself too seriously.
Good To Have:
- Experience catering to CFO persona is a plus.
- Familiarity with billing systems, CPQ and accounting systems is a plus.
- Experience building a small team of interns is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of marketing automation.
