UX Researcher (1-4 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Will help bring deep insights to our business teams with empathy and sensitivity through various research methodologies such as Ethnography, Focus groups, Contextual interviews, Observational Research techniques like Fly on the wall, Mystery auditing, Shadowing to name a few.

- Will think creatively, think ahead and fearlessly call out disruptive trends of the future and how it will shape our businesses and experiences.

- Will go deep, go the length and breadth and be willing to put themselves out there to gather precious insights that could shape the company's future.

- Conduct Generative research techniques, hold Blue sky sessions and Design thinking sessions with problem statements to gather insights from internal working teams to solve problems for our customers.

- Be a member of our core design team and will work closely with product and engineering teams to conduct research and help design experiences for our customer facing android app, seller apps and associated platforms.

- Collaborate with Design teams in planning and executing user experience research processes like card sorting, heuristic evaluations and usability testing.

- Should have the Ability to quickly turn insights into actionable points for other stakeholders to consume in the form of visual reports in a short span of time.

Ideal Candidate :

- A degree in design i.e. B.Des or M.Des from NID, IIT or any other Tier 1 design school in India or any reputed international university.

- 1 to 4 years of hands-on UX Research experience.

- Compulsive problem finding skills with excellent visualization, collaboration, and communication skills.

- Ability to understand human psychology at its deepest level to help uncover the unsaids in conversations and observations.

- Ability to understand the complex systems, processes and relationships of people and products.

- Ability to apply the right research methodology according to the context and the relevant audience.

- Experience in conducting primary and secondary research in the context of mobile apps for Indian audiences.

- Great communication skills - ability to present design, communicate concepts and explain insights in various visual, verbal and text formats.

- Hands-on experience and compulsive practitioners of user-centric design processes.

- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment.

- Experience in performing usability testing.

- Ability to use quantitative data along with qualitative data to help stakeholders make design decisions.

- Ability to work with product and technology teams to study product performance.

- Familiarity with the lean UX process.
