Enterprise Architect (8-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Strategy :

- Define and maintain the enterprise technology architecture, including application, data, infrastructure, and integration layers.

- Ensure alignment between the technology roadmap and business objectives to support scalable and reliable solutions.

Platform Design and Optimization :

- Guide the design and implementation of SaaS platforms to ensure scalability, security, and performance.

- Identify and address architectural inefficiencies, ensuring continuous improvement in systems and processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand business needs and develop technical solutions.

- Provide architectural oversight and ensure consistency across teams.

Technology Governance :

- Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices to promote consistency and quality.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to support business and technical goals.

Scalability and Resilience :

- Design systems that handle growth in customers and data volume while maintaining performance and reliability.

- Develop strategies for disaster recovery, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Data Architecture :

- Collaborate with data teams to design scalable and secure data models and integration pipelines.

- Ensure data governance, compliance, and efficient access across the organization.

Documentation and Communication :

- Create and maintain architectural documentation to communicate strategies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Act as a technology advocate and mentor, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications :

Required :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar leadership role in a SaaS or technology-driven company.

- Experience with enterprise-scale data systems, including data warehouses and analytics platforms.

- Deep understanding of SaaS architectures, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and microservices.

- Strong knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and system interoperability.

- Expertise in modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, including the ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts.

- Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide engineering teams.

- Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and methodologies.

Preferred :

- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).

- Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, etc.)
