Job Description :
About the job Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
Translate one-liner business requirements into comprehensive deliverables, including detailed specifications and functional requirements.
Design scalable, modular, and future-ready e-commerce solutions using WordPress, WooCommerce, and AWS.
Lead the creation of wireframes, process flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Ensure seamless integration of features like order management, tax compliance, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive customer journey.
- Optimize website performance for mobile and desktop, ensuring fast load times and smooth navigation.
- Integrate third-party tools like CRMs, ERPs, analytics platforms, and payment gateways.
- Configure AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.) for scalable and secure hosting.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and updates.
- Work closely with developers, marketing teams, designers, and customer support to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor team members and guide best practices in WordPress, WooCommerce, and AWS.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, and AWS services.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular).
- Familiarity with APIs (RESTful) and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows, including order management, taxation, loyalty, and promotions.
- Experience with multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency setups in WooCommerce.
- Experience with headless e-commerce setups using APIs.
- Knowledge of customer service portal development and PIM systems.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
Domain Knowledge :
- Understanding retail and e-commerce workflows, such as inventory management, order management, customer engagement, and sales tracking.
Other Skills :
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Postman, and JIRA.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with headless WordPress development and custom APIs.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for Node.js application deployment
