The Internal HR Audit Lead is responsible for evaluating and ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and efficiency of the company's HR practices. This role involves conducting audits to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to internal HR policies and external regulations, in collaboration with the HR team and other business units.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR to understand process flows and areas of improvement.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes, policies, and procedures across various HR functions.
- Review and assess HR documentation, including but not limited to recruitment, compensation, training, and employee records.
- Ensure tracking of HR Key Risk Indicators and work with stakeholders on course correction
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Identify and report discrepancies or non-compliance issues in HR practices, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide support in the preparation of audit reports, including risk analysis and recommendations for process optimization.
- Evaluate the implementation of HR strategies and programs to ensure they align with the organization's goals and compliance requirements.
- Track and monitor the progress of corrective actions post-audit and ensure timely resolution of issues identified.
- Assist in preparing internal audit documentation for external auditors or regulatory bodies when required.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops for HR teams on audit findings, compliance requirements, and best practices.
