Senior Manager - Financial Analysis & Analysis - Capex (10-16 yrs)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Manager is a pivotal role within the finance organization, responsible for spearheading the regional controllership function that underpins the financial close process. This role demands strong analytical acumen, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both finance teams and business leaders. The Finance Manager must operate with precision and integrity, often under tight deadlines.

We seek candidates with 10+ years of experience in financial accounting, technology project accounting, and business finance management for technology functions. A deep understanding of capitalization/amortization and its implications under US GAAP and IFRS is essential.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in mid-sized organizations and client-facing roles, as these skills complement the required technical expertise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS

- Lead revenue recognition processes for FP&A.

- Manage and ensure accurate expense tracking across regional P&Ls.

- Forecast customer prepayments and monitor major spend variances.

- Conduct monthly analyses, including functional spend and forecast impact.

- Support strategic planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting cycles.

- Consolidate and manage unstructured data from various sources to enable accurate reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

- Education: BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master's preferred).

- Experience: 10+ years of financial management/accounting experience.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas and spreadsheet creation).

- Expertise in PowerPoint.

- Familiarity with financial/statistical software, databases, SQL, and advanced modeling.

- Power BI experience is a plus.

- Certifications: CPA or equivalent required.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication and leadership abilities.

- Work Requirements: Flexibility to work US hours and weekends if necessary.
