Organisation: An Ed-Tech firm, part of a large and diversified conglomerate.

Job Description:

- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals to increase organic visibility, traffic, and conversions.

- Lead keyword research and identify content gaps, new opportunities, and trends in the industry.

- Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and navigation to enhance user experience and search engine crawling.

- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into content creation and publishing processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.

- Conduct regular technical audits of the website to identify and rectify issues affecting search engine performance (e.g., site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, indexation issues).

- Work closely with the web development team to implement technical SEO recommendations and improvements.

- Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and other technical aspects of SEO.

- Ensure website compliance with search engine guidelines and best practices.

- Oversee on-page optimization efforts, including meta tags, headers, alt text, and structured data markup.

- Develop and manage link-building strategies, including outreach and partnerships to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.

- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles, disavow harmful links, and build relationships with relevant industry websites for guest blogging and other off-page opportunities.

- Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to track, measure, and report on SEO performance.

- Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market.

- Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team, highlighting progress, key metrics, and actionable recommendations.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

- A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO certifications) is a plus.

- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

- Proven track record of driving organic growth and improving search engine rankings for large scale websites.

- Experience with e-commerce SEO, local SEO, and international SEO is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of other digital marketing disciplines, such as PPC, content marketing, and social media marketing.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics(GA4), Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development practices related to SEO.

- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento) and website analytics platforms.
