Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Gateway Coonoor. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing

- Restock linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms

- Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms

- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor

- Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and storage areas

- Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding promptly to their requests

- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

- 1+ year of experience in housekeeping or a related field

- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 25 kg)

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
