Role Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Banking Specialist at Systematix Group in Mumbai.
- The Specialist will be responsible for analytical tasks, financial modeling, managing investments, and conducting due diligence on various financial transactions.
- The incumbent would work on fundraise for clients through Private Equity, Venture Capital, Structured Equity / Debt and M&A Advisory Projects, working both on sell side as well as Buy Side of the transaction.
- Assist the IB leadership team in conducting industry research, market mapping and preparing mandate pitches.
- Develop various types of financial models to value debt / equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
- Prepare deal collaterals to include Teaser, information memorandum.
- Actively involve at every stage of the transaction, work closely with middle / senior management teams.
- Provide transaction support to the clients throughout the deal lifecycle.
Qualification: CA/CFA/MBA (Finance).
Experience: Minimum 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis for various financial transactions, including private equity, venture capital, structured equity/debt, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
- Build and maintain complex financial models to value debt and equity for transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.
- Assist the investment banking leadership team with industry research, market analysis, and preparing compelling pitches to secure new mandates.
- Develop deal collateral materials like teasers and information memoranda.
- Actively participate in all stages of the transaction lifecycle, collaborating closely with client middle and senior management teams.
- Provide ongoing transaction support to clients, ensuring smooth execution and successful deal completion.
Qualifications:
- CA (Chartered Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or MBA (Finance) degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking or a related financial services field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
