System Administrator

Summary: As a System Administrator, you will be required to manage Windows and Linux based systems in iTech. This position requires good system administration experience of 2 to 5 years. Further it requires good multitasking and good spoken & written communication skills and the candidates must be self-motivated.

Role & responsibilities

• Installing Windows 7/8/10 systems, Windows 2016 & 2019 servers
• Active Directory, MS Exchange Server, MS Outlook
• XEN/VMWare, Creation of Windows or Linux instances over a VM Operating System, tuning resources
• Managing a small LAN / WAN and WiFi network
• Being able to install & configure a system with various relevant software tools
• Maintaining backups systems such as Netgear
• Writing, Scheduling and maintaining Backup scripts
• Changing any faulty hard disks, Ethernet cards etc
• Setting up Secure FTP servers (SFTP, FTPES, FTPS), accounts
• Troubleshooting any connectivity problems and network performance
• Installing & Configuring Printers
• Implementing a security policy / Firewall / AV / UTM, DMZ, VPN
• Configuring encrypted hard disks, partitions, shares
• Manage windows domain with about 60 users, a total of 80 systems going to 120.
• Microsoft Office 365 setup and management
• Google G-Suite apps setup & management
• Linux apps such as Bugzilla, V-Tiger etc.
• Monitoring servers
• Active Directory, Active Directory Migration, LDAP
• HIPAA Policy, password implementation
• AWS, GCP Cloud Server Management, AMI, S3 Storage

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/MCA/Diploma in Computers/Electronics with 2 to 5 years experience.
• Any JetKing / Cisco / Microsoft / NIIT or IIHT kind of certification a bonus
