Job Description: Cloud Administrator/DevOps Engineer Position
Job Description:
Our business unit is focused on developing Next Generation Enterprise level SaaS solutions for our customers in project intensive industries. Our applications provide Project and Portfolio Management, Schedule Management, Contract Management, Resource Management, and Risk Management solutions used by large world leading companies in the Construction and Heavy Engineering space.
Oracle s CEGBU (Construction & Engineering Global Business Unit) DevOps team is seeking talented Cloud Administrators/DevOps engineer adept at solving complex technical problems that span multiple areas combining software and infrastructure; excel in production operations, and service assurance. The candidate should be able to identify operational patterns and issues and suggest creative solutions working with different internal engineering teams and external customer requirements.
Must be a motivated, team-player with the ability to work cross functionally with a can-do and do-it-right attitude. Must be a self-starter and constantly thinking a way to improve the work.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience (3 to 5 years)
- Other qualifications, certifications and work experience within the IT domain may be considered
- Experience in SRE, Cloud technical support, Cloud operations, or NOC
- Experience with Linux System Administration, Networking, Storage, Compute, and Virtualization
- Knowledge of or experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Chef and /or Puppet
- Knowledge of or experience in Oracle red stack components like IDM, Webcenter, Weblogic, OHS, OBIEE, and/or BPM
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Able to work flexible hours Sunday through Saturday (9.00 PM - 6.00 AM IST Shift)

- Excellent communication skills, in terms of being able to deliver technical and functional knowledge and solutions to management and customer support personnel, including the ability to provide feedback to both technically aware and non-technically aware co-workers.

- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal

- Open to working alternate shifts, our team operates on a 24 x 7 schedule
- Able to work well in a team, as well as on your own
