Required qualifications include:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT

Minimum 3 -5 years of experience implementing and configuring NetSuite

Strong understanding of ERP and financial business processes.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

This position can be fully remote in India. As always there are a lot of other technologies listed in the job description outside of NetSuite, Snowflake, Zoura and Workday among others. Let's try to find candidates with as many of these technologies as possible. I know it will be difficult to find candidates who have all of them. If we can find candidates who have NetSuite, Suitescript and Snowflake that may be enough. If we can find some that have more of the technologies listed in this job description that would be better. A Sr. NetSuite Developer who has Snowflake and at least a few years with Suitescript and has worked on workflow automation and integrations with other technologies could work.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Technical Consultant to design, develop, and optimize NetSuite solutions. This role requires expertise in SuiteScript development, workflows, API integrations, and system automation to enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement NetSuite customizations and integrations that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Customization & Development

• SuiteScript Development (SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0):
• Develop and maintain custom user event scripts, client scripts, scheduled scripts, Map/Reduce scripts, and Suitelets.
• Optimize script performance and ensure best practices in NetSuite customization.
• Debug, test, and deploy scripts within NetSuites development framework.
• Workflow Automation & Process Optimization:
• Design and configure SuiteFlow (Workflows) to automate business processes, approvals, and notifications.
• Optimize workflow performance and troubleshoot existing workflows to ensure smooth operations.

Integration & API Development

• NetSuite API Development & Web Services:
• Develop and maintain integrations using SuiteTalk (SOAP & REST APIs), SuiteQL, and SuiteAnalytics Connect.
• Implement OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication (TBA) for secure API access.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between NetSuite and third-party applications
• Middleware & Third-Party Integrations:
• Work with integration tools such as Workato, Boomi, or Dell Boomi to connect NetSuite with external systems.
• Develop RESTful web services for real-time data synchronization.
• Optimize integration performance and troubleshoot API-related issues.

System Administration & Support

• Configure NetSuite roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Troubleshoot technical and functional issues related to NetSuite modules and integrations.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise

• 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Technical Consultant, Developer, or Administrator.
• Strong expertise in SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0 development.
• Hands-on experience with SuiteFlow (Workflows) for business process automation.
• Proficiency in NetSuite API development (SuiteTalk SOAP/REST, SuiteQL, SuiteAnalytics Connect).
• Experience integrating NetSuite with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Shopify, or Adaptive Planning.
• SQL, JavaScript, and JSON/XML for NetSuite development.
• Knowledge of NetSuite ERP modules (Finance, Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, etc.).

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• NetSuite Certifications (SuiteCloud Developer, SuiteFoundation, SuiteAnalytics, or Administrator).
• Experience with Snowflake, OneStream, Zoura or Workday Adaptive Planning.

Soft Skills & Work Approach

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot NetSuite issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and IT teams.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
