Sr . Principal Service Assurance

Job Description :

The overall objective of the Cross Border Mobility team is to establish a Mobile Network as a Service with competitive Global Coverage.
The Sr. Principal will play an integral role in the development and support of exciting new mobility services.

The successful applicant, as part of the Project Team, will be responsible to define all aspects of the Service Assurance operational activities including the following: documenting the requirement for the Operationalization of the services, collaborate with the various technology teams to develop support solutions, define the requirement for IT development in support of the Service Assurance functions and to provide subject matter expertise on the operation model, business practices, KPIs, and system architecture to ensure smooth transition of support from project to operation.

The role requires the understanding of various mobile core system components and architectures residing in a diversified ecosystem of dedicated and cloud compute systems setting expectations for a world class services.
The Sr. Principal may be required to lead related training session with Service Assurance or OPS team.

Skills
3-5 years of relevant work experience in MVNE, MVNO or MNO with experience in cross-functional teams in the implementation of services, products or process improvement.
3+ years operations experience supporting systems, networks, and/or accounts.
5+ years telecommunications industry experience with a mobile communications provider.
Solid experience with the mobile core system components (EPC, HLR/HSS, PCRF, IMS), Mobile OSS/BSS (OCS, Billing, Campaign Mgmt...)
Must have experience in developing and driving adherence to KPIs and/or Service levels Understanding and experience of IT systems and operations (billing, mediations, and middleware knowledge would be an asset)
Understanding of software development methodologies, tooling and transition towards DevOPS continuous delivery considered an asset.
Understanding of cloud compute concepts such as AWS allowing to support hybrid architectures
Proficiency in analyzing, developing and implementing operational KPIs
Strong interpersonal skills with highly developed organizational skills
Ability to communicate and build strong relationships across many lines of business at all levels internally and externally
Competency in SQL and Microsoft Office tools
MIS, Engineering, or related field competency in working in MVNE/MVNO/MNO
Must be available for travelling
