General Manager - Retail Operations

1. Knowledge of handling multiple stores with P&L accountability.
2. Understanding of Fusion software including opening of item masters, vendor codes, PO generations, and other aspects upto complete closure till payments.
3. Depth knowledge of market in buying including whole sale mandis of vegetables, fruits, non veg and grocery.
4. Should have good negotiation skills in buying grocery items and other consumables.
5. Fixation of selling rates to generate volumes ie smart selling.
6. Making systems in stores so that pilferage is minimized.
7. Inventory management.
8. Storages and monitoring of expiry / shelf life items.
9. Devise strategy to open new stores - knowledge of design of new stores, its display counters and subsequent operations.

The ideal candidate should have entrepreneurial skills . Prior experience in handling mid scale grocery stores in townships / hospitals / educational institutions is essential .
