Requirements
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead Software Engineer.
Knowledge of the Ruby on Rails web development framework.
Knowledge of AWS.
Understanding, providing estimates, and implementing complex systems.
Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
Experience working in an agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologies
A self-motivated go-getter individual with a passion for learning and strong communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Contribute to a key technology project to enhance the instrumentation of a large Rails application and reduce a maintenance backlog.
Contribute to supportability tools for a large Rails application.
Participate in code reviews and demos internally and with the support team.
Advocate best practices (unit/automation testing, code reviews, code quality, etc.).
