Mechanical Engineer Robotics Automation

Svaya Robotics is looking for a Mechanical engineer who will be responsible for the design of mechanical equipment needed for integration of a robotic system. The engineer will be working on conceptual solutions for proposals as well as detailed design for project implementation.

• Design of layout for a Cobot system.

• Design of grippers, conveyors all peripherals needed for the application.

• Selection and sizing of purchased products required for automation.

• Design of pneumatic circuit based on application.

• Design of fixtures for welding and deburring applications.

• Responsible for design approval of mechanical parts of the system from the customer.

• Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor.

• Experience in design of mechanical systems for automation.

• Good communication skills as you will be interacting with customers and vendors.

• Experience in product sizing and selection from catalogues.

• Exposure to conveyors, fixture design, gripper design, SPM s will be added advantage.

• Experience in design of robotic systems will be an added advantage.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with 3-5 years relevant experience.
