Legal Counsel

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all legal aspects of the company, including patents, trademarks, contracts, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Legal Compliance*: Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
2. *Patents and Trademarks*: Manage the application, maintenance, and renewal of patents and trademarks.
3. *Contract Review and Negotiation*: Review, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts, manufacturing agreements, and other legal documents.
4. *Liaison with Legal Firms*: Collaborate with external legal firms on matters requiring specialized expertise.
5. *Risk Management*: Identify and mitigate legal risks to the company.
6. *Policy Development*: Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
7. *Dispute Resolution*: Manage disputes and litigation, including working with external counsel.

Requirements:

1. *Qualifications*: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent.
2. *Experience*: At least 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate environment.
3. *Skills*:
- Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
