Job Description of Product Manager - Document Scanner - at Noida
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee and drive the sales and growth of our Document Scanner product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT hardware sales, managing channel partners (dealers and distributors), and executing sales strategies through inside sales, cold calling, and occasional onsite visits when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
- Oversee the Document Scanner product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
- Define and manage product roadmap, feature prioritization, and product positioning in the market.
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Document Scanners through channel partners, including dealers and distributors.
- Engage in inside sales activities, such as cold calling and digital outreach, to generate leads and secure orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to ensure product availability, pricing, and support.
Channel Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors, providing them with product knowledge, sales tools, and support to drive sales.
- Provide training, technical support, and sales assistance to channel partners.
- Conduct periodic onsite visits to partners to assess their needs, troubleshoot issues, and promote new features or offerings.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to drive product improvements and market penetration.
- Regularly report on product performance, sales metrics, and market trends to senior management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in IT hardware sales, with a proven track record of selling Document Scanners or similar hardware products.
- Experience managing channel partners (dealers/distributors) and executing inside sales strategies.
Sales & Communication Skills:
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals through cold calling, email outreach, and virtual meetings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and customers.
Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of document scanning technology, its features, and its application in various industries.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Other Attributes:
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for onsite visits when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or IT Hardware related field.
- Experience working with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Competitive base salary depending on experience .
- Incentives: Performance-based incentives based on targets.
- Additional Benefits: Travel allowance (if applicable) for on-site visits to channel partners and distributors.

B-68, B Block, Sector 65, Noida, UP (Nearby to Noida Sector 62 Metro)
So, the candidate must be residing or willing to relocate at a nearby location.
Some Other Important Information -
(1) Week off on Sunday, 2nd & 4th Saturday.
(2) No Work From Home
(3) Office hours- 10 Am to 6:30 Pm
