Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior PC Application Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the development of our cross-platform desktop application for Windows and macOS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C++ and Qt for desktop development, along with experience in web UI frameworks like Svelte. You will work on a complex application that integrates native and web-based components while ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using C++ and Qt.
• Implement UI/UX components using QML and integrate with web UI frameworks such as Svelte.
• Optimize performance and ensure seamless user experience across Windows and macOS.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define application features and functionality.
• Work on multi-threading, memory management, and optimization for high-performance desktop applications.
• Ensure robust networking, file handling, and system integration in the application.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test frameworks.
• Debug, profile, and resolve issues across different platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Qt, C++, and web UI technologies and recommend best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C++ application development, with a strong focus on Qt (QtWidgets/QML).
• Proficiency in developing cross-platform applications for Windows and macOS.
• Experience with web UI frameworks like Svelte for hybrid application development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
• Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, WebSockets, REST APIs), multi-threading, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating native system APIs on Windows and macOS.
• Proficiency in Git, CMake, and CI/CD pipelines for software development.
• Knowledge of modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:
