Overview
The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a productive and positive workplace environment. This position not only manages various aspects of human resources but also ensures that the company's workforce is motivated, engaged, and well-equipped to meet organizational goals. The HR Manager serves as a key liaison between employees and management, driving initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and company culture. This role involves a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on management, overseeing areas such as recruitment, talent management, compliance with employment laws, and the development of HR policies. With a focus on auditing and improving employee performance, the HR Manager helps align human resources practices with the organization s long-term vision and objectives, ensuring that the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Create and oversee onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance for employee development plans.
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Facilitate employee training and development initiatives to promote skill enhancement.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and disciplinary issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Monitor labor legislation and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Manage employee retention strategies and conduct exit interviews for feedback.
  • Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases to enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support diversity and inclusion programs to promote a diverse workplace.
  • Organize employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and staffing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting HR metrics and proposing solutions.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e. g. , HRIS or ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in creating and conducting training programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience in performance management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
