The IT company Andersen invites a Java Developer in India to join its team for working with a company from UAE.
The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.
The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborating with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
- Implementing security and data protection measures.
- Optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensuring code quality through different types of testing and continuous integration.
Must-have:
- Experience with Java for 3+ years.
- Proficient in microservices architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side languages such as Java.
- Ability to write maintainable and testable code within a shared code base.
- Demonstrated and proved skills of working with integrating with payment gateways both synchronously and asynchronously.
- Ability to utilize and manage version control systems for source code management.
- Ability to work in a DevOps mindset with following CI/CD principles.
- Fluent knowledge of containers and orchestrators technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to develop code in a SOA fashion.
- Ability to design and implement relational and/or non-relational database structures.
- Fluent with object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Fluent with utilizing and developing web service APIs.
- Strong understanding of software architecture techniques.
- Level of English from Upper-Intermediate and above.
