On the Global Pricing team reporting to Director, Global Pricing, the Global Pricing Manager will help lead Sundyne's global pricing strategy to continuously improve pricing effectiveness and efficiency.

Leading the pricing team in Pune, this individual will support the Director of Pricing in creating and executing best-in-class pricing strategies for the entire product portfolio, accounting for local and global markets, as well as large scale bespoke bids for enterprise level opportunities.

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitive positioning.

The role will partner with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Product Management, Finance and Sales teams, to execute and report on pricing processes using tools and models to drive revenue and margin objectives..

Job Duties & Responsibilities.

Support Departmental projects in designing and implementing a cohesive global pricing function, instituting best-practice Pricing capability and policy for the company including processes, tools, templates, and training to ensure robust cost estimation, aligned to scope/requirements, and with thoughtful incorporation of risk and pricing..

Support Director of Pricing in managing pricing team in India to drive pricing solutions and results..

Run analysis to help manage list price and discount frameworks that drive customer performance while maintaining margin targets..

Monitor implementation and adherence to pricing guidelines.

Measure and track impact of pricing changes.

Design and generate new reports and dashboards as needed.

Communicate key insights to cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.

Develop sales enablement content regarding pricing.

Ad hoc reporting leveraging Power BI to support strategic business decisions..

Performs other duties as assigned..

Implement a range of pricing strategies and processes across engineered and/or customized to order manufactured products, and aftermarket components..

Support Departmental projects to design, develop, provide, require, and maintain training & mentoring to all levels of estimators and pricing analysts to ensure organizational capabilities are met and individual growth is accomplished..

Support development of B2B pricing analytics; to include price variance analytics, customer segmentation, pricing compliance, economic trends, marketing, and competitive trends..

Required.

Skills & Abilities.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience working with large databases and data visualization tools.

Confidence dealing with less-than-perfect data (e.g., cleansing, transforming, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills..

Strong supervisory and leadership skills..

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to business audiences in both spoken and written formats.

Ability to influence key stakeholders to drive key bid/proposal activities..

A track record of implementing new processes and tools, both global and local, and ensuring appropriate training of existing teams..

Proactive: A natural bias for action with a focus on results delivery; moves with a sense of urgency and easily anticipates next steps, follow-up actions and leadership direction.

Demonstrates openness, flexible thinking.

Comfortable with turbulence and ambiguity..

Ability to work both independently and within a team of a highly matrixed environment, interacting with professionals at all levels of an organization..

Develop pricing analytics experience..

Preferred.

Masters degree.

Knowledge of SQL, BI, and familiarity with JDE (or other MRP System) is a plus..

Previous team management; pricing team management is a plus.

Qualifications.

Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field of study..

10+ years of experience in consulting, pricing strategy or similar analytics roles, with consistent career progression..

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail..
