Android Developer - Java/Kotlin (3-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop advanced, user-friendly, and high-performance Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define app features and functionality.

- Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.

- Implement robust and secure application code while ensuring data protection and security.

- Troubleshoot and debug app performance issues and crashes.

- Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to extend app functionality.

- Ensure the app meets the requirements of both Google Play Store guidelines and industry standards.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong experience with Java and Kotlin for Android app development.

- Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.

- Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and implementation using XML layouts.

- Experience with Android libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Room, Firebase, etc.).

- Familiarity with Android components such as Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, etc.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON parsing.

- Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Threads, Handlers, AsyncTask, etc.).

- Experience with Android Jetpack components (Navigation, LiveData, ViewModel, Room).

- Familiarity with Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, etc.).

- Understanding of version control tools such as Git.

- Experience with Firebase or other backend services is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
