Job Description
- 10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on testing and building automation frameworks for REST API testing.
- Expertise in designing and writing Test Strategy, Test case designing, Test plan preparation and implementation with a focus on APIs and interoperability
- Expertise in creating test automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Rest-Assured, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent.
- Proficient in understanding databases and running SQL scripts in MySQL, Oracle etc.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) to test API scalability and load
- Experience with test design methodologies, ensuring effective coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proven experience in working on integrations with a deep understanding of data flows, validations, transformations etc. and ability to design scenarios for them
- Proficiency in version control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing and load testing for APIs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and lead the development of new QA initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
