Senior System Engineer(SASE)

SUMMARY

We are looking for passionate Engineers to take part in our customers' journey towards revolutionising their network and security with our AI-powered SASE platform. This job involves 20 - 30% travel to both domestic and international locations.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Application.

EXPERIENCE :

We are looking for expert engineers. You should have more than 10 years of relevant industry experience. This role requires working with Chanel Partners, and having experience working with Chanel Partners, VARs would be an added advantage.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Act as Versa SASE expert and work closely with Versa Partners and VARs.

- Communicate with various levels within customers and Partner organisations.

- Advocate, design, and deploy Versa solutions for its global customers.

- Carry out Proof of Concept on-site or off-site.

- Troubleshoot complex network issues and problems.

- Translate business problems into High-Level Designs and solutions.

- Create implementation-level details and help customers deploy Versa SASE solutions.

- Work closely with Versa business and sales functions to carry out customer and partner workshops, seminars, training etc.

- Provide market inputs to product and engineering functions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS :

- Experience in planning and designing or operating service providers or large enterprise WAN/LAN Networks.

- Strong understanding of network design principles, strategies and best practices.

- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack and operation.

- Expert level knowledge of WAN technologies and protocols like MPLS, MPLS-based VPNs, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, LDP, and RSVP.

- Strong understanding of VPNs and Overlay technologies like IPSec VPNs, DMVPN, GET-VPN, Group VPNs, GRE, NVGRE, and VXLAN.

- Strong understanding and know-how on a wide range of technologies on topics like cloud computing, SDN, NFV, information security etc

. Strong understating of SSE and its components.

- Exposure to multi-vendor network environment.

DESIRED SKILLS :

- Knowledge of Linux administration.

- Shell scripting, python scripting knowledge.

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following public and private cloud technologies :

- Microsoft Azure

- Amazon Web Services

- Google Cloud Platform

- OpenStack

- VMware

- Containers

- Designing or operating Information and Network security solutions such as DDoS systems, Firewalls, UTMs, Antivirus solutions, IPS/IDS, file filtering, identity and access management etc.

COMPETENCY :

- Ability to think full stack when it comes to problem-solving.

- Excellent hands-on skills in deploying and troubleshooting complex networks.

- Willingness to help customers, peers and other team members in crisis.

- Self-motivation, work without supervision.

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

- Excellent documentation skills.

- Willingness to learn new technology and face challenges
