UI/UX Designer - Figma/Sketch (7-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

As a UI/UX Designer you will lead the design of user-centric web and mobile experiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring that our digital products are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and shape the design strategy that aligns with our product vision and user needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design Strategy & Execution : Lead the design process from concept to delivery, translating business goals and user needs into engaging user experiences.

- Define design strategies that align with product vision and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

- User Research & Analysis : Conduct in-depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviour and pain points. Use findings to create personas, user flows, and journey maps that guide the design process.

- Information Architecture : Design intuitive information architecture and user flows to ensure that users can navigate complex systems with ease.

- Develop wireframes and user journey maps to visualise structure and interactions.

- Prototyping & Visual Design : Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Design interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing and aligned with brand guidelines. Ensure that designs are responsive and work seamlessly across devices.

- Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and deliver solutions. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design quality.

- Design System & Standards : Maintain and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability in UI components and patterns across all digital platforms.

- Promote best practices in design and usability.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on UI/UX trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Apply insights from analytics and user feedback to continuously improve product designs.

- Usability Testing : Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to validate design decisions and gather user feedback. Use results to iterate and refine designs for improved user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of user-centred design principles and a track record of delivering successful digital products.

- Design Tools : Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision. Ability to create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts.

- User-Centred Design : Strong background in user-centred design methodologies, including experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows and personas.

- Visual & Interaction Design : Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and colour. Proven experience designing engaging interfaces that prioritise usability and accessibility.

- Communication & Presentation : Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders and team members. Experience leading design discussions and workshops.

- Cross-Platform Design : Experience designing for various platforms, including web, mobile (iOS/Android), and desktop applications. Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.

- Analytical Skills : Ability to use data and analytics tools to inform design decisions and improve user experience. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on balancing user needs and business objectives.

Bonus Skills : Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
