Job Description. The Stress Engineer is responsible for carrying out stress analysis for components built out of metallic and composite materials. Also, to prepare necessary stress reports/ documents for certification. Conversant with Aerospace terminologies. Good working knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composites, and, material allowabl. eWorking knowledge of utilizing MMPDS, MIL-HDBK-5 handbooks and other relevant composite handbooks. Having good working experience on linear/ non-linear static analysis, Modal/Dynamic analysis, Fatigue analysis on industry standard specific tools as indicated. Having good working knowledge of establishing stress through Classical Approach through Hand Calculations. Hands-on on stress tools like Optistruct/Nastran Patran, LSdyna, ANSYS, NASGRO/AFGRO or any industry specific tool. sMust have working knowledge of creating stress reports/ documents for certification. Must be conversant with certification standards like FAR/ JAAR/ CAR/ MIL standards and other UAV standards. Stress analysis domain experience in Linear/Non-Linear static analysis, Dynamic/modal analysis and Fatigue analysis in both metals and composites. Good Knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composite materials.
