Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Integrate and maintain database interactions, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Work with web services (SOAP/REST) for data communication between systems.
• Ensure compliance with software development methodologies and security best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement in development practices.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Java object-oriented programming and development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch frameworks.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, DB2).
• Experience in Dev-Ops tools (e.g., Git, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus)
• Experience in developing and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Proficient in working with Linux, including command-line expertise.
• Familiarity with handling data formats like XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of AWS services, Hadoop, and Spark is a plus.
• Understanding of internet and security protocols is an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
