Job Description: Business Development Manager (Salon Division)
Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and expand our Salon Division.
- The role focuses on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive revenue growth, building and nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the division meets its strategic objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the salon division's business.
- Identify and target potential clients, including salon owners, beauty professionals, and distributors.
- Achieve revenue targets and work towards expanding the division's market share.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the salon industry.
- Analyze data to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide actionable insights to marketing and product teams to align offerings with market demand.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with salon owners, franchisees, and business partners.
- Lead client presentations and negotiations to successfully close deals.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing ongoing support and addressing concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay up-to-date with the salon division's product portfolio, including haircare, skincare, and professional tools.
- Train and educate salon professionals on the features, benefits, and proper usage of products.
- Represent the division as a product ambassador at industry events, workshops, and trade shows.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, client retention, and new business acquisition.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior management.
- Develop and execute action plans to address gaps in achieving targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the beauty, salon, or FMCG industries.
- Strong understanding of the salon industry, including market dynamics and customer needs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in conducting training sessions or product demonstrations is a plus.
- Masters in Business or related field.
