You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our core applications, contributing both to backend and frontend systems. If you thrive on problem-solving and are excited about working with modern technologies, we d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Collaborate with a small development team to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Contribute to frontend development, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements to the current stack.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel).
Proven experience with full-stack development, including backend and frontend.
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Strong knowledge of database systems, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with testing frameworks like RSpec, Minitest, or similar.
Version control expertise with Git and experience using platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
Exposure to GraphQL and real-time communication tools like ActionCable or WebSocket APIs.
Understanding of modern DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Background in building and scaling high-traffic applications.
