- Bachelor s/Master s level degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field with 8-10 years of overall experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS
- Minimum associate level certification in AWS
- Expertise in data center storage or virtualization or networking
- Expertise on cloud platform (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Knowledge on container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience in designing, deploying, and migrating applications to the cloud
- Understanding of private cloud architecture for scale out and integration to public cloud
- Able to architect application designs using AWS services or other leading cloud providers
- Understanding of overall cloud management tools, monitoring, alerting, chargeback, capacity and performance management, and service level objective definitions
- Knowledge on how to setup and use different database types and best use cases for applications
- Working knowledge of modern software development languages such as React, Angular, Node, Python etc
- Knowledge of automation scripts and tools (use of AWS CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of automation scripts and tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- Knowledge/understanding on DevOps or AIOps
- Experience in a consultant role to build relationships with customers and team members
- Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
