Medical Treatment: Provide non-surgical treatment and medical management for ENT conditions, which may include prescribing medications, hearing aids, or speech therapy.

Surgical Procedures: Assist in ENT surgical procedures, such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and ear surgeries.

Patient Care: Offer pre-operative and post-operative care, including monitoring patients' progress, managing pain, and ensuring appropriate rehabilitation.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate medical records of patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and surgical procedures.

Education: Participate in educational activities, including attending rounds, conferences, and lectures, to further knowledge in otolaryngology.

Research: Engage in research projects and contribute to advancements in the field of ENT.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as airway obstructions or trauma, that may require immediate ENT intervention.

Collaboration: Collaborate with attending otolaryngologists, audiologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

Medical Degree: A medical doctor (MD) degree is required. Registrars in ENT have typically completed medical school.

Residency Training: Registrars are in the early stages of their otolaryngology residency program, which typically spans five years after medical school.

Medical License: A valid medical license to practice as a physician is necessary.

ENT Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ENT conditions, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
