Responsibilities :
- Conduct research in computer vision algorithms, techniques, and methodologies to solve complex problems in image and video analysis.
- Develop and implement novel computer vision algorithms and models for object detection, recognition, segmentation, tracking, etc.
- Explore cutting-edge deep learning techniques such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs), generative adversarial networks (GANs), Transformers for various computer vision tasks.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of developed algorithms on benchmark datasets and real-world scenarios.
- Explore and work with Generative AI models such as LLMs, GANs etc.
- Work on optimization of existing pipelines using frameworks like Tensorrt, OpenVino, ONNX.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into existing products or develop new products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision research by studying academic literature, attending conferences, and participating in research communities.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals to contribute to the scientific community and establish thought leadership.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
- Participate in patent filing activities to protect intellectual property resulting from research and development efforts.
Qualifications :
- PhD or Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on computer vision, machine learning, or image processing.
- Proven track record of research excellence demonstrated through publications in top-tier computer vision or machine learning conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML).
- Strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in computer vision algorithms, image processing, and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++ for implementing and evaluating algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with software development practices including version control (e.g., Git), code documentation, and software testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Prior experience in industrial or applied research settings is a plus.
