Senior Data Tester

5+ years of overall testing experience with an extensive experience in data warehousing projects
testing.
Strong experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, MS SSIS, Talend or other ETL tools.
Experience in creating data verification test plans and test cases based on the functional and
technical specifications.
Demonstrated ability to write simple to complex SQL queries and knowledge on stored
procedures for issues identification if any.
Strong understanding of the OLTP, OLAP, ETL, Business Intelligence, data modelling,
structured and unstructured database concepts.
Experience in data profiling, data cleansing and data migration activities.
Hands on experience with source to target mapping in enterprise data warehouse environment.
Experience in business analysis, source system data analysis, architecture reviews, data
validation, data testing with a strong knowledge of QA processes.
Experience to work on any of the SQL databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.,
Nice to have experience in performance fine tuning of SQL queries and stored procedures.
Defects tracking and management using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla etc.,
Should be detailed oriented with an analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently, challenge the status quo with a commitment to high quality
outcome.
Establish strong relationship with business and technical teams to deliver the high quality product
all the time and assist the business users during UAT.
