To develop the STAAR business in the assigned territory including short-term goals and long-term strategies to build a premium market for implantable lens solutions for refractive errors
To work towards exceeding business revenues (achieving and exceeding the defined budget) for the assigned territory.
To assist the Reporting Manager in developing and engaging influential and high volumes users for the organization.
To assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing effective training and Marketing programs for ICL and TICL in the region.
TASKS
Provide sales and training support to distribution partners
Assist with the promotional activities at regional/national congresses in India
Collection and analysis of market-relevant data in the region.
Supporting doctors in the O.T. and demonstrating the injector system through a dry demo
Guide the surgeons on lens calculations and assist them in the ordering process.
Support compliant execution of STAAR s business processes
Prepare and submit on a timely basis field activity reports for the territory and other reports required by the Reporting Manager.
Work towards building good professional relationship with all internal and external customers at all levels (doctors, opinion leaders, distributors, peers), etc.
Work towards ensuring timely service, prompt response time, and delightful service support for the customers.
Any other duties as may be required by the Manager.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education
Opmetrist/B.Tech./B.Sc.
Post Graduate / MBA preferred.
Special Knowledge
Excellent English skills
Personality
Flexible, result-driven, able to work in an international organization and with remote teams
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of field sales experience. (Ophthalmology segment preferred)
