This project aims to develop a model improving preconceptional care, care of the pregnant woman, intrapartum care, neonatal care and care of the infant in the first two years to meet the INAP targets in one district

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferable master s in nursing from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum 1 year of experience in the care of children (0-2 years of age)
Essential Degree or Diploma in nursing with 2 years of clinical experience.
Salary: Rs. 35560/-
Language : Essential: English, Kannada, Desirable: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, etc.
Experience: Minimum Experience of 1 year

Roles and Responsibilities:
Willing to work in NICU, M-NICU, KMC ward of St. John s Hospital, and in peripheral rural hospitals
Collaborate with the team to implement a comprehensive care model for the first 1000 days of life
Educate and support pregnant & lactating women, conduct check-ups, and coordinate interventions through Community visits (1-2 visits/month) to government hospitals (district and subdistrict level) in study district
Provide training, mentorship, and capacity-building to project staff, including nurses and community health workers.
Support MNH activities in the hospital and in the district with the need for travel to Karnataka districts for on-site training and supportive supervision
Help in developing training material related to clinical aspects of care, conducting literature search, and contributing to publications
