Job Description
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Tax Compliance: Support tax filings and ensure proper documentation is maintained for income, sales, and other taxes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and company policies.
- Month-end/Year-end Closing: Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) for management and external reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance or resolve discrepancies.
- Banking Relationships Management:
Manage and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring favorable terms for loans, lines of credit, and other financial services. - Cash & Liquidity Management:
Monitor and manage company cash flow and liquidity needs, ensuring sufficient funds are
available for day-to-day operations while optimizing the use of excess cash. - Financing Activities:
Coordinate the execution of financing strategies, including debt and equity financing, and assist in the preparation of loan agreements, investment, and financing proposals.
- Audit Planning and Execution:
Lead and manage the planning, scoping, and execution of internal audits, ensuring comprehensive risk assessments and adherence to internal audit methodologies. - Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Audit Reports:
Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key audit findings, risks, and recommended actions.
