Research Assistant and Field Investigator

Literature Review:Conduct literature reviews to gather information and insights on relevant research topics.Summarize and analyze findings to inform research design.Data Collection:Assist in collecting and compiling data through surveys, interviews, experiments, or other research methods.Ensure data accuracy and completeness.Data Analysis:Perform basic data analysis using statistical tools or software.Collaborate with senior researchers to interpret and present results.Documentation:Maintain organized and detailed records of research methods, data, and findings.Prepare written reports and documentation for research projects.Research Design:Contribute to the design and planning of research studies.Assist in developing research protocols and methodologies. Collaboration:Collaborate with senior researchers and research teams to achieve project goals.Participate in research meetings and discussions. Presentation:Prepare and deliver presentations on research findings to internal teams or external stakeholders.Assist in the preparation of research papers for publication.Ethical Compliance:Ensure compliance with ethical standards and guidelines in research activities.Obtain necessary approvals for research projects.
Essential Qualifications:
(a): Qualification- Ph.D./ MPhil / Postgraduate in subject relevant to the research area of the Project or any Humanities/Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
(b): Qualification- Postgraduate in any Humanities/Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable
Experience:
a): Preference will be given to candidates with working experience relevant to Rup Trakasi, knowledge about Odisha, especially Cuttack, good communication skills in Odia and English, and knowledge of SPSS/STATA and data archiving.
(b): Preference will be given to candidates with in-depth knowledge of ethnographical research and fieldwork in Odisha, photography and video recording skills with knowledge of photo/video editing.
