Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager - CSR to lead corporate engagement and drive impactful CSR partnerships that align with Rupantar's mission. This role focuses on securing CSR funding, cultivating long-term corporate relationships, and managing donor retention, while also contributing to team leadership and organizational presentations.
The Senior Manager will lead CSR fundraising efforts, develop strong partnerships, and manage corporate relations. They will focus on effective communication of Rupantar's educational goals to CSR donors and ensure donor satisfaction while overseeing team collaboration and presentation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic CSR Partnerships & Fundraising (50%)
- Identify and target corporations for CSR partnerships aligned with Rupantar's mission and programs.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive CSR fundraising strategy to build sustainable corporate relationships.
- Engage senior corporate stakeholders, presenting proposals that showcase the alignment between CSR goals and Rupantar's impact.
- Create and deliver persuasive pitch decks, presentations, and communication materials to highlight the organization's initiatives.
- Attend corporate events, CSR forums, and networking opportunities to promote Rupantar and build new partnerships.
- Stay updated on CSR trends and regulations to explore new opportunities for funding and partnerships.
- Donor Retention & Stewardship (30%):
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate CSR donors, ensuring continued engagement and support.
- Lead the development of tailored stewardship plans, ensuring regular communication and customized outreach to corporate donors.
- Prepare detailed reports on fund utilization, project outcomes, and impact for existing donors, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather success stories, data, and testimonials to demonstrate CSR impact to corporate donors.
- Maintain a dashboard to track CSR funding, donor engagement, and partnership timelines, using insights to drive donor retention strategies.
- Team Management & Presentations (20%):
- Provide guidance and support to achieve fundraising goals and maintain donor relationships.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, enhancing their fundraising and communication skills.
- Oversee the preparation of presentations, impact reports, and strategic documents to communicate with donors and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams (finance, programs, and leadership) to gather data and insights for proposals and reports.
- Represent Rupantar at high-level meetings, conferences, and events, delivering presentations that promote the organization's vision and projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and submit tailored proposals that reflect Rupantar's mission and corporate CSR priorities.
- Proofread high-quality proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry, ensuring alignment with corporate donor expectations.
- Develop customized strategies for engaging corporations from diverse sectors, aligning Rupantar's projects with their CSR goals.
- Ensure timely, professional communication with corporate partners, responding to inquiries and providing regular updates on opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business administration, social development, communications, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or donor relations, with a proven track record of securing CSR funding.
- Deep understanding of India's CSR landscape, including legal frameworks, corporate priorities, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on engaging senior corporate leaders.
- Proven ability to write compelling proposals and articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong understanding of the social and education sectors, particularly in the areas of competency-based learning and inclusion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the NGO or social impact sector, particularly with education initiatives.
- Familiarity with financial budgeting and CSR project costing.
- Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
