DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, andmanagement of continuousintegration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Code pipeline and Azure DevOps
• Implement and optimize CI/CD workflowsto enhance software deployment efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with IT and development teamsto ensure system designs align with technical and end-user requirements
• Troubleshoot issues related to source code management, deployment processes, and infrastructure, providing timely resolutions and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cloud services to optimize resource utilization and performance
• Conductsecurity, performance, and availability assessmentsto ensure robust systems
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and performance through effective adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, implementing necessary improvements
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Leverage a deep understanding of Secure Opssolutions to develop tailored automation approaches
• Create and maintain scripts for:
  • Automating infrastructure and software builds
  • Generating release and build identifiers
  • Tagging and branching code in configuration management systems
  • Informing the development team about build issues and collecting build metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or an equivalent
• 3 to 4 years of experience with cloud platformslike AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with DevOpstool chainssuch asJenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Search & kafka
• Strong scripting and automation skills(e. g. Bash, Python)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and associated instruments
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams
