Solis Technology - Backend Developer - Node.js/Express.js (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).

- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and other backend services.

- Design and manage database schemas and optimize database performance (experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases is highly desirable).

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data.

- Integrate with third-party APIs and services.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

- Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).

- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).

- Extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

- Solid understanding of database design principles and optimization techniques.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

- Understanding of microservices architecture.

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with TypeScript, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), caching strategies and technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Supertest), monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
