Software Tester

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing ERP web applications, using tools like Jira for managing test cases, issues, and test cycles. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our ERP system, ensuring all features work as intended and meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute functional and non-functional tests on ERP web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize Jira to create and manage test cases, log bugs, and track progress throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Perform various types of testing including regression, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and security testing.
• Identify, report, and help prioritize defects, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and effectively.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
• Maintain a strong understanding of ERP domain functionality, business processes, and workflows, and how they impact application design and testing.
• Take ownership of testing responsibilities, demonstrate initiative, and work independently when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on ERP web applications.
• Proficiency in using Jira for test management, bug tracking, and reporting.
• Strong experience in manual testing, with knowledge of automated testing tools being a plus.
• Strong understanding of ERP domain functionality, business processes, and workflows.
• Familiarity with different types of testing: functional, regression, UAT, load, and performance testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write and maintain clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and report testing progress.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software testing, preferably in the ERP space.
