Software Engineer

• Build, Integration and verification on Mobile Station Modem (MSM) chipsets running the Windows Operating System or Linux Android OS.
• This role requires the engineer to analyse and identify system level integration issues, define plan and integrate new features, performing smoke test on test platforms, develop and execute basic test scenarios for various modules.
• Candidate will interface with the development and test teams, assemble and verify software builds, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  

Minimum Qualifications -

• Candidate should have strong background in embedded software and 2 to 5 years of software development/integration experience.
• Good understanding of C/C++ and Strong Python/C#/Power Shell Scripting/Perl programming skills and hands-on experience on debugging embedded systems is required.
• Good knowledge on OS Concepts like Bootloaders, Paging, Deadlocks, Virtual/Physical memory layouts, Storage variants, Partition layouts.
• Should have exposure to large scale software build, integration and test environments.
• Knowledge of any Revision Control Software is must and Perforce or Git/Gerrit experience.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Msbuild, Windows build system and Debugging
• Experience on Continuous Build and Integration (Automated) like Electric Commander, Jenkins, Hudson
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Ability to co-ordinate across stakeholders towards task completion
  

Preferred Qualifications -

• Knowledge and experience in Windows Integration or Development is preferred.
• Experience with JTAG and ICE debuggers, GSM/WCDMA test equipment, ACPI, Desktop Image generation, FFU is useful.
  

Education Requirements - Bachelor's / Maters Degree in CS or EC with 2 to 5 years of experience.

Added advantage if candidate has prior experience in working on any Qualcomm based chipsets.

Note: Not looking for the Profiles, who has just IT kind of role in triggering the builds on AWS/Docker etc and No In-depth Core Integration knowledge.
