Software Engineer - Flutter

Role & responsibilities

• Flutter-Dart Development: Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring the best possible performance and user experience.
• Code Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs and wire frames into high-quality code, following Flutter best practices and design guidelines.
• Architecture Patterns: Be familiar with various architectural patterns such as MVP (Model-View-Presenter), MVC (Model-View-Controller), and MVVM (Model-View-View Model), and choose the most suitable one for each project.
• API Integration: Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and manage data flow between the mobile app and server.
• Database Integration: Implement and manage local databases using SQL for data storage and retrieval as required.
• Version Control: Use Git for version control to ensure code base integrity and collaborate effectively with the development team.
• Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of the application.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application, optimizing it for speed and responsiveness.
• Cross-Platform Development: Collaborate with the team to ensure the mobile app functions seamlessly on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Bug Fixing and Maintenance: Investigate and fix bugs and issues reported by users or identified through testing. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of code, architecture, and application features.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Flutter, Dart, and mobile app development trends, and apply them to enhance the development process.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Proven experience in mobile app development using Flutter and Dart.

2. Proficiency in Android Studio and Java for Android development.

3. Strong understanding of SQL databases for data management.

4. Familiarity with Git, SVN for version control.

5. Knowledge of various architectural patterns (MVP, MVC, MVVM) and their application.

6. Experience translating UI/UX designs into code.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

9. Ability to work both independently and in a team.

A portfolio of previous Flutter mobile app projects is a plus
