Job Description

SOFCON is looking for Guest Faculty to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

you will contribute to the education and development of students through engaging lectures, practical sessions, and mentorship
Your expertise in biochemistry, effective teaching methods, and commitment to student success will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience
Responsibilities:Lectures and Presentations:Deliver high-quality and engaging lectures on biochemistry topics to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students
Create and deliver presentations that effectively convey complex scientific concepts
Laboratory Supervision:Oversee and guide students during laboratory sessions, experiments, and research projects
Provide hands-on instruction and ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed
Course Content Development:Develop course materials, syllabi, and assessments that align with program objectives and learning outcomes
Incorporate innovative teaching methods, technology, and real-world applications
Student Engagement:Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and collaboration
Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students through office hours and interactions
Assessment and Evaluation:Design and administer quizzes, exams, and assignments to assess student understanding and knowledge
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance
Research and Scholarly Activities:Contribute to academic research, publications, and scholarly activities in the field of biochemistry
Encourage students' involvement in research projects and presentations
Professional Development:Stay updated on the latest advancements in biochemistry through continuous learning, attending conferences, and staying informed about current research
Departmental Collaboration:Collaborate with fellow faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and academic planning
