SOC Analyst

Need to Identifiy SOC analysts to support 24x7 operations 

Visionet system private limited is looking for a highly motivated and talented Information Security Analyst to join a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment. The ideal candidate must have in-depth experience assessing, designing and implementing enterprise scale solutions. You will monitor our computer networks for security issues, install security software, and document any security issues or breaches you find. To do well in this role you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science and experience in the information security field.

As the Information Security Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

• Security Event Incident Monitoring (SEIM) Tool Experience (Prefer Alert Logic Experience)
• Monthly Validations/Real Time Monitoring Network for potential threats while growing our living documentation
• Research & Remediate Monthly Vulnerability Scans
• Access Control Review Experience (Require Matrix Management of other teams)
• Participate in Annual Penetration Testing (Includes Action Items & Remediation)
• Research & Remediate Quarterly Phishing Exercise (Includes Monthly Parent Company Phishing Exercises)
• Advanced Documentation Skills (Creation & Edits with little Supervision, Mapping Exercises, Understand & Ensure Adherence to Parent Company Policy/Procedure)
• Participate in IT/Security Audit Due Diligence (Internal & External to our Company) regarding exams and documentation combined
• Participate in ServiceMac Information Technology Policy updates related to Information Security
• Participate in IT Disaster Recovery Q1 Tabletop & Q3 Actual Exercise (Previous IT DR SME Experience Required)
• 1-2 years of technology audit experience (having gone through IT Audits before, experience researching and responding to auditor findings related to IT/Information Security)

Required Skills:

• Using MS Office Suite including Microsoft Project
• ITSM Tools (Autotask, ServiceNow, or similar)
• Mimecast Administration Experience

• Proficient with MAC and OS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experienced with penetration testing and techniques
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
• Understand patch management
• Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts
• Experienced in installing security software and documenting security issues
• Experienced with penetration testing and techniques

Abilities:

• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient, or able to gain proficiency with, a broad array of security software applications and tools.
• Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems including firewalls, encryption, and password protection and authentication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field required; M.B.A. in Information Systems preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in information security.
