Job Description
Experience Range: 5 to 8 Years
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to enhance our database solutions and reporting capabilities. You will be responsible for developing MS-SQL queries and procedures, creating custom reports, and modifying ERP user forms to boost organizational productivity. This role involves designing and maintaining databases to ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.

- Implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
- Analyze and interpret ongoing business reporting requirements.
- Research and gather necessary data for reporting and analytics.
- Build useful and informative reporting deliverables.
- Analyze existing SQL queries and suggest performance improvements.
- Develop procedures and scripts for efficient data migration.
- Provide timely management reporting as per schedule.
- Investigate exceptions related to asset movements and data integrity.
- Optimize in-application SQL statements for performance.
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
- Document processes, specifications, and database designs.
- Manage common database procedures including upgrades, backups, recovery, and migrations.
- Profile server resource usage and optimize as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent proficiency in T-SQL programming.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Knowledge of NoSQL/NewSQL/MySQL databases is a plus.
- Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
