Informatica Data Governance Architect

Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and strategies. Promote a culture of data stewardship across the organization.
Develop, implement and enforce data governance policies, standards and procedures, conduct regular assessment to ensure this is being adhered to.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and industry standards eg GDPR, CCPA.
Work closely with data domain owners, should be able to understand the business and develop data governance strategy that fits their requirement.
Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities.
Deliver exceptional client service; maximize results and drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders. Influence clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people.
Ability to explain value of data governance to both business and technical stakeholders. Ability to deliver operating models, strategies, and frameworks around DG.
Support several engagements with Data Governance knowledge.
Lead metadata management activities. Ability to guide teams to implement Data Dictionary/Data Lineage and Data Catalog use cases. Good understanding on business and technical metadata.
Lead Data quality initiatives, understanding of data profiling, data quality dimensions are a must. Define data quality metrics and establish processes for monitoring and improving data quality. Produce dashboards and scorecards for continuous monitoring of the same.
Work with data architects and IT to ensure data governance principles are integrated into data architecture and data integration processes.
Good working knowledge to Data governance tools like Collibra, Informatica etc. Understanding of ETL processes is a plus.
Good working knowledge of database systems (RDBMS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Detail-oriented and passionate about data accuracy and integrity.
Be able to Conduct training and awareness programs for users and stakeholders.
Is updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance and has knowledge on other tools available in market.
Strong data management expertise, proficiency in Data Governance, analytical mindset, expertise with
Informatica CDGC, ETL knowledge (Informatica CDI/CAI), Strong SQL.
